During homework time at my house one of the things we need next to us is a sharpener because the tip of the pencil is always either breaking or getting dull. The manual kind is such a hassle because it takes forever and sometimes the tip breaks off and you have to do it again. You will not have that issue with this battery operated sharpener. It is medium sized meaning it is not too big or too small. It comes with the 2 AA batteries so you can start using it as soon as you receive it.
